Default tv.2 cam in ls2 results

This setup is a stock bottom end ls2(364) with a 232/234 .595 .598 113 lsa, engine also has afr 225 heads, 1 3/4 pacesetter headers ORY with STOCK midepipe and weld in magnaflow. Fast 92/92, 85mm maf, fast toys 85mm lid, yella terra rockers.

I'm looking for more power up top, I would like to get this motor to pull to 7,000 without dipping off...do i just need a bigger cam? or a solid roller cam? Also thinking of the fast 102, but I think that will be 5rwhp if that, any input is welcome I may try to ditch the stock 2 7/8 midpipe for a flowmaster merge and 3in. setup.....

I'd like to see that thing with a PRC 227 head.

What about your ms3 cams? I see those on your web site and wonder if I can carry power to 7,000 with that..

Brad, the stock exhaust is probably costing you a couple ponies, but I bet it's not too much. I've also seen Tony Mamo (frmm AFR) say 1 7/8" headers and the AFRs don't mesh well, at least on the 205s. Keep in mind the power you are losing through the auto as well.

Honestly, I'd just send your FAST out to Tony Mamo (since he started the whole FAST porting thing) and let him work his magic there. I'd say let him spec you out a cam too, since he can match the flow characteristics of the FAST & those heads with a cam suited for the whole combo. I'd consider letting him massage the heads as well...basically just call & let Tony take over the combo The man knows his ****.

What's the CR?

This is Sean btw. Oh and a new cam for the catfish means the Ram can take the T2.
