Seems a little high for me for 2 runs. Have you had your car to a track to see what kind of times it runs. MPH would help us to determin what kind of RWHP you make. I'd gather 375rwhp.

3 pulls ~$50 around here so 2 for $75 seems high IMO

ssfiress Take your car down to Team Extreem they use a Dyno Jet and not the Mustang dyno. You could also take it to Mike Murillo.

or if you want to get it dyno'd cheaper, Take it to dynotex and talk to Cory. (Murrilo has moved his shop to Team Extreme, i believe he'll be running Dean out shortly.)

I paid $50 for 2 pulls on a Mustang dyno. What type of dyno are you going to be on?
Mustang dyno's dyno lower than a Dynojet. You will be disappointed on a Mustang dyno.

hey mike where in the bay are you from. i just moved here to san antonio about a year and a half ago. so is team extreme here or over there? also what gear do you guys pull in. a buddy of mine said 4th is the best because the ratio is the closest to 1 to 1 for actual numbers. im not too sure of what that means but i know this is stupid. ive never had my car dynoed. what do i do? get strapped up get to 4th then hold 2k rpm then punch it to 6300 then let off and put it in neutral and let it wind down. then do it all over again. is this the way to do it. enlighten me fellas.

You've pretty much got it right. FYI you don't have to do it yourself tho. Whomever you take it to knows quite well what to do, so just let them do it. If you take it to Murrilo it'll prolly be my buddy Jimmy that will dyno it, or if you go to dynotex Cory is the one that does it. They all know what they are doing. If you need any info about where to go, or whats there to do in San Antonio. Hit me up with a PM.

M6 = 4th Gear to get 1:1

A4 = 4rd Gear to get 1:1

2 cents: Mike is a nice guy at Murillo
Cory is a nice guy at Dynotex

so can't go wrong with either... I have had the bad feeling coming out of Fuel Injection though so beware

4th gear is overdrive (1.25:1 i think... or may be 1.33:1)

(looks like just a typo since you put rd instead of th... just wanted to clear up for any newbies looking at the thread)

yeah i work in the forum at chilis. i cant stand waiting tables. i thought on sat mornings was when the lined up all the cars next to chilis to show em off. i havent seen a show around there for a while now. the last one i saw out there was like in sept or so when it was still warm out. do your friends have ls1's. we should have a fat cruise sometime in the spring after i get my car fixed. yeah yeah dont ask. about 4 months ago when i had my bald DR's driving in the rain. equation = bald DR's+ 50mph+rain like a madman= 360 almost recover but still slap nose and right fender into gaurd rail it took my grill off and slightly f-d up the front. damn i got to fix that soon.

There has been cars out at the forum every friday night starting about 6 for quite a while now. All my friends have a variety of cars, couple ls1's, lt1's, Evo, supra, talon's.... yada yada. We are a big happy familiy!

Sorry about your car, i didn't almost that exact same thing except it totaled my car. Hit every panel on the right side including the hatch and both wheels. Hope you get her fixed soon.
