With the cutout open it sounds freakin sick!!! The 111 ls makes the lope very rhythmic. The classic cam sound.

Yeah the last couple of days I have been looking at Monster's clutch kits and reading about them on here. I was thinking about the stage 1 with the 18lb billet steel flywheel for the higher revs. I think its rated at 450rwhp. I might install some heads in a year or so, but Im not sure if their stage 1 clutch will hold up to that kind of power. I'm sure the stage 2 would be able to handle the power, but I don't know if that clutch will be significantly more heavy for daily driving. What do you think?

did you make those numbers through the catback?

also...you pulled stock heads only to put them back on?

The catback is gonna stay for those rare times when I want to be quieter. I dyno'd the car with the cutout open and I almost always keep it open.

I dyno'd the car with the cutout open. Yes these numbers are with stock 241 non-ported heads. I just cleaned them up and installed new springs, seats, retainers, locks and a compcams trunion kit. I am thinking about get some 243 heads with the sodium filled valves.

Does anyone have an idea of how much extra power those would make if I got them ported and polished?

What are the SAE numbers? Will probably be about 10rwhp less.

My tuner spent two days with the V3 after I complained how shitty it was running. After the initial tune it had horrible idle on a cold start and bucked like a wild bull around 1,500rpms. Now it's completely dialed in and runs great! I would have no problem daily driving this cam now.

I just had a Diamond stage 2 from TDP installed and love this clutch. Solid engagement, no chatter at all with only slightly stiffer pedal over stock and rated for 600hp. Jason even called my shop to talk to the guys about the install. Nicest vendor I've dealt with ever.

Quick Reply: Torquer V3 my first cam.
