My 2000 SS has been down for quite a while, I had blown the head gasket and I didn't want to fix it myself or pay to have it done due to about 170k on the motor. I picked up a used short block with about 50k+ miles and recently got it installed. I used a lot of parts that had been in my garage for a long time, lol. I had to smog the car so I kept the stock mani's, cats and cat back on.
New springs were installed on the heads and they were cleaned up a bit.
These heads were previously on my GF's Z/28 with a 224/228 cam and it went 11.31@120.
I'm just listing the power mods for now and if anyone needs to know what oil pump or timing chain I used, just ask me![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)
The car has a 12 bolt with 3.73's, a stock steel drive shaft and a RPM level 5 4L60E with 4K stall.
So without further ado...
2005 TEA Stage 1.5 5.3 heads... 62cc chambers, stock head gaskets.

Can't find the cam doctor profile and those are the numbers I recall
UDP
Stock manifolds, Cats, Y pipe and exhaust...
Once every thing was installed, I went and had it smogged...

Next, had it tuned... converter was locked.

Car feels great and part throttle response is very fun as well as full throttle. I can't wait to get it to the track!
