Why do A4 cars bust stuff on the dyno?

Why do A4 cars bust stuff on the dyno? Never had LT1 guys have this problem. See it lots on here.
Is it mainly low gear ratio guys?
How are you dynoing? Let off **** into nuetral then hit the dyno brake? Or brake/nuetral?
