Default Dyno #'s

My car is at Speed INC getting headers, frame connectors and a 224 581 114 cam installed. I called and talked to Larry today and he said that they did the before dyno this morning and I at 325 HP for the first run and 330 for the next. He said it was a lot stronger than expected. I am shooting for 390 to 400 RWHP after the headers, cam, ported throttle body, and dyno tune. What are your thoughts and do you think I'll hit it?

I think you should be able to reach 390 with no problem

A4 may rule the drag strip, but the M6 can win the dyno war, put up a good fight at the drag strip, and rule on the road course!!! Two outta three is still winning!!!

Picking the car up in the morning, Larry said final dyno #'s were 390 HP and 379 ftlbs.

Well I have not seen the graph yet but from what I have seen, that torque number looks pretty good. I think I am going to be pleased with it. Larry at Speed INC seems like a cool guy, and I am 110% sure that I am going to be extremely hapy with the job that they did. IMO I think that the SLP dual dual exhaust and the SLP lid might make a little bit more power. Those numbers are good numbers though without any dyno tricks.

I got my graph and the afr was 13 all the way across. My question is, is that too rich? The car really smells like gas now, and I know I have the offroad y but it seems to be dumping fuel. What are your afr's.

mine is 14.0, but I'm going to richen that up to 13.0. I too get the gas smell at 14.0. I don't think there is much you can do about it except use cats.

i think that's just lack of cats. 13 a/f is normal. just out of curiosity, how much did all of that cost you?
