Default Modded 3 valve GT vs LS1

I've got two friends. One with a 2000 SS M6 longtubes with full exhaust and a lid. The other has a 07 GT with a intake, sct tune, longtubes, full exhaust, and a 373. Its also a stick car. Going off what my camaro ran with the same mods other than me having a 4.10 gear it should be trapping in the 106-107 range (4000ft) and the mustang traps 102-103. With the numbers I've gave the LS1 should be quite a bit faster but if both cars are running to their full potential with equal drivers which car should be faster? My friend with the mustang says his tune sucks that if he had a dyno tune he'd be faster. What do you guys think?

Close race if the 3V guy can drive. Not a bad motor just shadowed by the new Coyote
