Default my ls 240sx

been working on this car for a year. stock 5.7 with comp cam238/244 114 @.050 .605-.612 , long tubes, ls6 intake, 80mm tb, katech rod bolts, patriot extremes, 3" exhuast to off road y. no cats, melling high pressure pump, doubler roller, upgraded injectors. stock heads

and a mild street tune that i did myself. i wanted to just get a baseline hp number to see what it was making.

car is 2500 pounds and feels really fast.

Car looks good - torque seems a little low for that cam, no? Looks like you had another 20hp or so if you spun it to 7K.

Had it at the track yet? I'd expect easy 120s with that weight.

ya torque seemed low to me too. and i actually did spin it to 7k. that rpm is the dyno rpm. not my cars. so not sure.

i did expect a little more. this was on a dynojet i believe. but its all good. the car has not been out to the track yet.

I think a smaller cam would have performed better for you,a nd gave you better low end as well. That cam would be fine if you had some ported heads, but you said stock so im assuming its 241 castings?

I'd be more apt to trust the dyno tach than the tach in the car. If your tach said 7K, its probably safe to say its reading a few hundred rpm high.

What is your rev limiter set at?
