Default QTP HV headers HUGE dyno #s!

QTP HV headers HUGE dyno #s!

Well I decided to get a set of Stainless Steal headers since my coated ones were rusting very quickly even a year before I bought them. I did some research and decided that QTP was the only way to go. I based my decision on all of the great things that I heard about their product and the options that the offer with their packages so decided to give it a try. I ordered a set of their Long Tube headers with their exclusive QTP HV (High Velocity Merge Collectors) Race headers. I have always heard that those types of collectors along with the addition of a Y pipe with a real collector will give a bit more power. So I was happy with that and I couldn’t wait to get the results.

All The testing and installations were performed by CARTEK Racing and their Kick *** Team!
With my previous Long Tube Headers (in my signature) my car put down 330.9RWHP/340.5Lbs of TQ through my 9” Rear and 4.10 Gears and No tuning.
After CARTEK put in my QTP HV Race Headers and the OFF ROAD Y pipe with a flowmaster’s collector the car put down and incredible 349.7RWHP/355.9Lbs of TQ!
That is an overall gain of 18.8RWHP/15.4Lbs of TQ! I couldn’t be happier. I had no Idea that it would be this HUGE of a gain and with NO tuning too! And to top it off it’s through my HP robbing rear end!

After than CARTEK threw in their 3X Cam package and my car put down a good 406RWHP/370Lbs of TQ through an Open QTEC cutout!

I have all the dyno graphs but they are on separate sheets. I am going to ask CARTEK to see if they can put the runs on the same graph for further review.

These QTP stainless Headers are the real stuff. I am very impressed with them.

Yes they will... The Kooks & QTPs are almost identical, just look at my gains through my Kooks.

Hey don't feel bad. When I ordered mine I didn't get the merge collectors either, even though I had the money. I got the race style ones and made 338hp/347tq with them. That's my current setup, but I'm going to be gettign 3" duals soon. They are sweet headers!!
