Default Our new 2014 5.3 Silverado

We wanted to see the good news for ourselves, so we strapped our new 5.3 truck on the dyno this morning. It's on 87 octane with about 1600 miles on it. These things are certainly respectable! We can't wait to see the 6.2 and to get started modding these new engines! Driving around you can certainly tell the power and TQ this truck makes over the old 5.3 trucks.

Yes, this is the new body style 2014 truck with the new generation L83 5.3 engine in it. VVT, AFM, direct injected, etc.

I agree, the 6.2L version should be very interesting.
