Default procharged trans am

Went to the dyno this week after i could only get 5psi out of my bad intercooler.
5psi i was at 460.

347 9:3.1
Wiseco pistons
Eagle rods
Vrx5 cam 236/238
Milled 317 heads
Hooker 1 3/4
Magnaflow catback
60lb injectors/ aero 340 pump

D1sc 4" pulley
Fmic
Stock bracket

4l80
3200 5 disk
Moser 12 bolt 3.73

End of the day i left with 580/481 @ 12psi.

Car feels strong was hoping to get 600 n more tq but is what it is.

Maybe ill drop a lulley size an do poor man belt wrap

I'm by no means an expert on blown setups, but the torque number doesn't seem right. I thought blower setups were heralded on having such high torque output.

I think i should just go turbo

i made 470 hp 500 tq with a p1 on a sdce setup with a 3.4 , stock heads, cam , never opened up .

There is a difference of 100 rwtq between the rwhp; something is off. I've never seen that on any Procharger setup. The rwhp seems about right, but not the torque.

i think my tuner said it was because of the dyno? i cant remember.

or could it be my 4l80 is eating up all the tq lol

Probably right where you should be imo, you're running a 4l80 and a 12bolt, she aint gonna be a dyno queen. Take it to the track and see what the mph is through the traps.

The numbers are about right for the setup and that low of a compression ratio. The torque in centri setups is usually gapped like that in comparison to horsepower. I'd pulley down for more since its built. Meth injection (Alky Control) would help a lot.

I think the torque is about right. Usually around 90-100 ft lb spread from HP to TQ.

Example, my stock motor made 622rwhp/530rwtq with a D1sc and 10-11 psi. My current setup made 901rwhp and 820rwtq with an F1R and 22.7 psi..

That's just how centrifugals are, less torque and its high in the power band compared to a turbo setup.

Think my next pulley would be a 3.70 w/ poor man belt wrap

I'm reviving this post... Any updates to this setup at the track?

I got a very similar setup with a LQ4, ported 5.3's, VRX5, P1SC Procharger, Ported FAST 102/102 setup , 1 7/8 longtubes through a 6 speed, and I'm hoping at making into the 600's with that... But needless to say I'm really curious to see how your setup faired at the track and all.

Depends on your drive train...I would not be concerned with dyno numbers anyway.
