Default Questions about dynoing/tuning

I am new to LS1's, but am pretty familiar with LT1's. I have been doing quite a bit of reading on hear. Somewhere along the line I read someone saying that "he pulled those #'s with 4.10's." Does that affect the dyno?

I had my previous two car tuned by the same guy, and I wan't satisified. I heard a rumor, that someone was running SVO injectors and dynoed REALLY LOW. Supposedly they had to tune it differently because of the injectors (pulse?). After retuning, number were WAY up. Can anyone validate this?

with 4.10 gears in a stock 10 bolt you will loose about 5 rwhp over the stock 3.42`s on the dyno. If you have a 12 bolt and 410`s you would loose even more.

If you put the 30# svo injectors in your car you will need a tune for them.

I know that they need a tune for them... is there a special tune being SVO's???

Injectors are injectors. The SVOs just happen to be made by Ford, so what. You would tune differently according to how much the injectors can pump out (30, 42, etc...).

I thought the change to a higher gear made you gain some hp back...which is why you put a higher gear in a 12 bolt...to make up for the loss you get from the 12 bolt(and to keep the power in the upper rpms too....)

I thought 4.10 in a stock 10bolt would make you see a few extra ponies??
