1. with the mods in my sig and having a manual WS6 what do you guys think my power to the wheels would be. i heard about that underrating that GM did is that true.

2. when i decide to put a cam would i need to get some1 that knows LS1's to dyno tune my car or should shops with dynos know what to do?

3. and whats with the corrected and uncorrected hp ratings what does that mean??

1. My best guess would be between 310rwhp and 320rwhp. I see no LS6 intake.

2. That depends on the cam and yes you want a tuner that knows what they are doing.

3. Actually I never thought of the difference, but I will try to explain it. Someone correct me if I am wrong. Corrected is taking into consideration weather and other factors and uncorrected is supposedly the ACTUAL dyno #'s taking the factors out. I personally like to see corrected because that is how we drive the car.

anyone know a good place to dyno an f-body in miami, florida. i been wanting to dyno my car with just the mods i have. but what a dyno that f-bodys go to just to know that the numbers aren't off. like don't wanna go to a cheap *** dyno where hondas go and that the dyno itself is a piece of ****.

actual dyno is what it produces at the tempurature and humidity that day. there are 2 corrected factoring. the first one is what the big three uses to rate their motors. (GM, FORD, ETC...) called SAE it corrects to 29.23 in of Hg and 77* temp. the second one is called standard corrected. it uses 29.92 in of Hg and 68* temp. this produces higher numbers. so when dynoing a car be sure to get the SAE numbers to be inline with what the manufacturers used to determine hp ratings on the motors. and corrected is not how we drive the car. it puts a dyno test in california in december the same as a dyno done in florida in june.
