Trans am on slicks problems I have a 02 trans am full weight ls1 with cam 3600 yank headers tune and 3.73 gears, 26-10.5-16 mt et street (slick with lines down the middle) well my car seems to stop pulling after like 70 to when I finish the 1/4! What could I do to change this? Get more top end? Is it too much tire?
Def not too much tire. What are the details for the car? What cam and other mods? What intake?
What do you mean "stop pulling"? Does it just not feel like it's pulling hard or does it feel more like it noses over?
Fuel system would be a good place to start looking assuming the cam is installed properly, tuned properly, and hasn't gone flat or isn't floating valves.

I've found those tires can severely slow a car down at the track, I've scene up to 0.5 second slower times when swaping for a 275/40/17 to the 26x10.5x16. Do you have any logs of the car at the track? What kind of combo? Trans/Converter issue?

Comp cam 232/239 .595/.605 111 lsa and the car went 12.3 at the track but I forgot the 60 ft and it had a 4L60e! Ls6 intake and it feels like it just slows down and nosses over sorta
