Default Ls3 418

Went to the dyno yesterday by Geoff at EPS. The car made 493 unlocked and 504 locked.

LS3 418
Comp 239/249 637lift on both sides
821 heads hand ported by a local shop.
Fast 102 ported by Vengeance and Fast 102 TB
Built 4l60 with a UCC 4000 stall
Strange 12 bolt
I still have the 85 MAF on because I didn't have time to charge the AC so we can switch to SD.
When I get the AC charged and NOS on I will go repull it.

Not bad at all. Only 11 hp difference between locked and a unlocked 4000 stall converter. Interesting. What octane gasoline did you use?

Nice #s, a lil higher than my 416 that made 485. Mine has similar cam, stage 1 ported 821s & stock ls3 intake. The Fast 102 is the difference maker even though I've been told they're not much better than the stock one.

Do you have true dual exhaust?

That's awesome!! I'm running the same exact headers and exhaust. It takes a pimp to know a pimp

Very nice. I bet you pick up 5rwhp or more once you go to the SD tune.

Thank you for the info. My 1965 Skylark weighs about another 300 lbs without me. I am just trying to gauge what my car might do in the 1/4 mile with a similar motor. Probably low 11's for me.
