Fake dyno results
There are quite a few things that can be done to skew numbers.
A couple baseline pulls at low power to get an idea where peak torque and peak power are then do the rest of the tuning from there. Using where it starts to lay over as a good idea where to shift it at.
There's a video floating around social media a few months ago about how to make the dyno change its calculations just upon the atmospheric conditions.
I personally prefer Mustang dynos over Dynojets, the actual loading is more realistic with test repeatability is something that has be repeated from test to test. (as a consumer level dyno)
We dont like to do it but we have done baseline pulls without the laptop in the vehicle even just the air fuel hooked up. Then there is no question that is there base line and nothing was being changed.
