Not bad....some changes in the combo could easily push it over 400whp as it should.

Its the OP here! Bottom line is different cars, different dynos, different days. It's just a number. This is now my 2nd summer with this cam, and all I can say is its a huge improvement over the GM version of it. This car is so much fun to drive! It drives just as good as the stock cam did but with a nasty idle and so much more power. I have had zero drivability issues or sewing machine noise with this cam.
A guy I work with has a 1999 a4 TA that has a different cam, but was tuned at my same tuner. He put down 412 to and 389 tq. We roll raced twice from 30 mph, and I walked him both times by a car at 90 mph.
All I can say is I would take ths cam all day long over the GM version. Sure there are cams ot there that make more power, but I wanted a "set it and forget it" cam that made good power and was easy on the valve train.... This is it!

My thoughts exactly. its not worth chasing a dyno number over driveability on a street car, nor is it worth beating up your valvetrain.

Been back to the track?

No, I didnt make it this year. 3 kids and 70+ hrs a week at work kept me busy. I will hope to make it next year.

Got my car started 😁. Idle is at around 750, tr6 plugs at .040. Pcmforless tune seems to be good. Stall feels a little more loose vs stock cam. It's relearning still but driving nicely. Haven't gotten on it really, the 2.73 rear needs to go.
