Default 99 M6 Bolt-on dyno numbers

1999 Trans Am M6

Direct Flo lid
LS6 intake (28 lb. injectors)
FTRA
Hooker Longtube headers
Hooker Offroad Y
Hooker Catback (no cutout, I haven't put it back on yet)
STOCK TB
STOCK Pulley
STOCK rearend with 3.73 gears

345 rwhp and 351 rwtq

The A/F was rich at 12.1 across the board

I gained 30 rwhp and 19 rwtq from the intake and exhaust changes.

I know my A/F is too rich, but i'm having it dyno tuned soon so that isn't a concern right now, however.. the computer was pulling timing (4-5 degrees) from about 5500 rpm to the limiter. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this?

I'm going to install an 02 LS6 cam, 918 springs, ASP pulley, ported TB, 4.10's and getting it dyno tuned in a couple of months.. hopefully i'll see around 375 rwhp or so.

Any feed back would be great..

stock rears dont have 3.73's, an ss rear has 3.42's

I know, I put 3.73's in the stock rear end.

I think you might be more happy with somthing like a Hot-cam vs. the LS-6. Its not that much of a gain for what you will pay for it, and it sounds almost the same. Also I would start saving for a 12 bolt cause that 10 bolt is gonna go

I bought the LS6 cam VERY cheap, thats why i'm going to use it, and i'm all about stealth.. for now.

I'm not really worried about the rear end right now, I have to focus on college and whatnot. I've torn up one posi unit already and i'm not scared to do it again.
