dyno numbers from as 5.3L 232/236 combo
408rwhp / 380rwtq through my stock muffler (FLP Y Pipe) (A/F was 12.5 - 12.6 in the upper RPM range)
430rwhp / 384rwtq (@6200 rpm .. shut it down as it was so loud .. hp curve still rising) with Y Pipe and Stock Muffler diconnected - what a power robber!!
Also .. dyno numbers are from a dyno that may read a little low..

2 different dynos as well .. and at two different seasons (Spring -vs- Summer)
Please don't turn this into a bashing thread .. the new numbers were at a little lower A/F ratio as well ... who knows the difference between the 2 dynos and difference between temps .. It also shows how restrictive my catback is ....
