Default 416 Build

Curious to see what you guys think it will make for power. Originally wanted to reach 530 rwhp/ 500 rwtq but I think I will surpass the rwhp, torque Im expecting to still ge close to 500’s

12.0:1
FED Stage 2 CNC Port 823 LS3 head
GPI 242/258 .646/.637 113+4
Holley Hi Ram

Remainder of combo is 6L80/90 trans, 5K Circle D. Tire will be around 29” tall. Aiming for 295-305 width and 40-50 sidewall. Some type of cheap drag pack that isnt stupid heavy. Really not chasing numbers but it’s fun anticipating what it’ll make. Tune will be on point with my tuner so I know it will be a handful for a street truck

640hp/550tq at the crank

525hp/455tq at the wheel with the High Ram. That short runner intake is going to kill the torque.

5000 stall.. Im not looking to make peak down down low. Going to rev this setup out to 7500 or so. So totque should peak 5000-5500 area. with the gearing in the 6L80e, rear gear, and 5K stall those will make up for low end.

I agree. You won't need low end torque with that setup. I'm just saying you probably won't reach 500 wheel torque like you were thinking. The high ram will definitely help you reach your wheel HP goal. It's gonna be a screamer. I hope we get to see some dyno videos.

My fault, I have another thread discussing my build. But yes I will. I havent seen quite a combo similar to mine with my search so I am curious. This is an “off the shelf build, nothing custom made. I definitely will post #’s. Hoping to fire it up late this year. Engine parts are all almost here. Waiting on heads and cam. Ordering lifters and rockers this month. Then small tedious items
