congrats to you and mikey. you deserve to be happy with your car!!!!!!
you have a stock ls6 intake? if yes, i wonder what you'd get with the 90mm Fast and EWP.

90mm LSX ported intake.

Mikey thinks the clutch slipping was costing me some power, so maybe ill get in back on the dyno once its a bit more broken in too.

Grats Erik those are some sweet numbers you got there!! Lets hope we all stay up and running this time around . I got a Ram clutch too and I am gonna rename it Mr. Chatter
It does grab well and is not slipping so far though.


Again congrats man, the journey has finally ended!!!!

Its been long and painful for both of us-- I hope we can actually enjoy the cars now without having to worry about any other odd problems.

PS did you notice that we have almost the same dyno numbers (peak at least).

Well I drove the car home today! Supposed to take it easy for 1000 miles, plus I have a new clutch and trans, so I only did a couple 4500rpm darts. The car feels a little less torquey down low (1500-3000) range than the all-bore 388, but once you get to about 3000-4500rpm it like the car goes crazy and literally sucks to the breath right out of your lungs and you can feel it just want to pull and pull.

Very excited about taking this sucker back to the track!

True that man, you got a stout ride on your hands there, Our numbers are very close and I also have a bit of a bigger cam than you!!!!!

Possibly...i Just have bad memories of breaking down on the way down there last time. If its open, ill see if I can drag some car club members down there with some other fast fbodies too.

actually I just talked to George Culli the other day, and his JPR/JD built motor vette is still down, but on its way shortly to Futral on a trailer.

I dont know whats up with the ram -- when mikey took it out it looked in perfect shape. The pressure plate was rebuilt by ram between 1000-1500 miles ago, the flywheel was resurfaced and is unmarked. Mikey reshimed it after taking it out and I guess I will try and sell it as is. We think maybe it just couldnt handle the torque on my setup, althopugh it never missed a beat on the launches at 6500rpm before, grabs like a **** out of the hole. $250 complete with adjustable master if anyone wants it!
