Default dips/ flat spots in every graph?

Every N/A graph has a flat spot or dip around 3000-4000 RPMs and I never knew why. Ill post one of mine as an example.

Mine got dips and flat spots in it before we got it tuned out, but not at that low rpm. Mine was around 5200rpm, and we attributed it to knock retard. Here's one with a pretty bad dip in it....

That looks suspiciously similar to what I would expect from a few degrees of knock retard, like the 98 F-body cars. My (false) KR carried across almost the exact same RPMs. Until I tuned it out, of course.

Mine has a flat spot starting at 3800rpms on my new setup (but nitrous takes care of that ), and my old setup had a more pronounced dip. Every LS1 I've seen dyno does this too.

I've seen it quite a bit too. I think Slowhawk has mentioned that often times it's a result of not enough timing in that area.

Youll see it more and more pronounced the more overlap, tighter LSA running.

It can be help by timing some, its cam events and the long runner intake at work
