My buddy and I just finished dyno'ing his bone stock 03. Here is a copy of the graph

Great guess wicked hugger. I had to chuckle myself because it is dead on.

My stock numbers were 383/380 if I recall correctly. Definitely in the 380's...I just don't recall if it was high or low 380's. It made 396rwhp/400rwtq with a removed air silencer and a tune.

I made 460/460 with a pulley, CAI, catback, and a tune. Ported Eaton and x-pipe along with a few non-power adding mods put me to 500rwhp/500rwtq.

yeah i suppose most guys go with tune/pulley because there is more power to be found there going from stock opposed to buying LT's before those mods. but im sure LT's have there place just like with most cars. its just picking the right time, when they will give you the most power.

How is gas mileage on those things with 500 rwhp? Are cobra's lighter than camaros? I'd imagine you get some good numbers at the track.

no, the newer cobras are pretty heavy...heavy motor...etc..i think they weight 3700-3800 w/ no driver

my formula back when it made 340/350 beat a few stock 03 cobras making more power...weight

Thanks guys I just bought a 03 cobra with some mods. The previous owner told me it put down 448hp and I was just wondering what kind of gain I had from stock. This car really pulls!
