Default APE Heads/FM13 Dyno Results..

This is my first post after searching the forums for many months now trying to come up with exactly what I wanted to do with my 2003 EB ZO6.. I'm very happy with the results. I ended up going with LG Headers (no cats), FM13 cam (manley double springs, titanium retainers), and Chris at APE talked me into going with his port and polish job on my stock heads (wasn't doing heads originally). Their heads include larger valves (2.055 intake, 1.57 exhaust) and milling them to 62 cc's on the combustion chambers. End Results: 425 rwhp and 382 rwtq.. Remember this is on a Mustang Dyno.. The car is an absolute rocket now and sounds the way a vette should sound. It also drives incredibly like stock. No bucking/surging or idling problems whatsoever. It even averaged over 30 mpg on the way home (highway, computer readings).. Thanks to Chris and all of the guys at APE for hooking me up with exactly what I wanted.. Also I thank everyone on the Forums for sharing their experiences and helping me make my modification decisions.. Hopefully this dyno graph will post. If not I'll figure it out and post it later.

Nice results, hope go with a similar set-up on my Z06. Did they dyno before the mods? How does it idle?

Mind if I ask how much the heads work cost you? They don't have a price listed on their Stage 1 heads on their website.

Before all of the mods the car dynoed at about 330 rwhp.. Chris still has to get me the graph for that. The idle is set at about 900 rpm and sounds great. I haven't had any problems with idling whether the car is hot or cold.. Overall the car really reminds me of my 68 427 435hp Vette coupe that I once owned as far as smell and sound.. I love it. The head work was about $2300 and APE has their heads done by ET Performance which is another forum vendor. I actually provided my own springs and retainers so my cost was less than that. Really happy with the sound of the valve train though - or lack of sound I should say.. Sounds stock or even quieter than stock.. Pretty amazing considering the amount of work and the cam installed.

Nice numbers on a mustang dyno! What was the LSA and ICL on the F13 you used?

those are VERY stout numbers on that dyno.

My pp 5.3 s2 and 232/228 cam did only 382rwhp346rwtq on that same dyno.

Awesome combination man, I bet the car freakin screams like crazy.

Wow, nice #'s no matter what dyno you were on. But more impressive coming off a Mustang dyno!
