Thinder Racing tuning...?
Thinder Racing tuning...? Did anybody go to or know about Thunder Racing dyno tuning? I will be going there shortly for some installations and dyno tuning. Just want to get some answers before I go. How much do a dyno tuning cost and I heard it takes months to even get a spot. Is this true or what? I know what you are all thinking "just call them up" but Its Sunday so I cann't but will Monday. I know a few guys in the Louisiana area who have used them for installing and tuning. They do a good job, but there will probablly be a wait. Any good, reputable shop will prolly have some kinda wait. At least they know how to book appointments and don't get themselves in over there head like other places.
A dyno tune will run approx 650- If you are installing a cam and other goodies you may be able to get a break on the tuning. They are busy because they are one of the best. Normal lead time on installs is 4-5 weeks. They aren't the ONLY shop in the area. - FUTRAL Motorsports is a sponsor here also.....another world class performance shop 15 miles from Thunder. FUTRAL is worth a second look. I have good experiences with both facilites.
Well thanks for all the info. I just called them for a dyno tuning is 550 if I heard him right. I have an appointment june 13 for the installation of TR224/224 112 cam and dyno tuning so hope everything goes as planned. Never heard of Futral Motorsports but I look them up. Thanks again.
