Talking Asa Cam Dyno Results


I did three pulls my last two is on the sheet. Blue - cutout opened, red (last pull) cutout closed.
No difference between cutout closed vs. opened actually up to 3500 rpm with closed cutout I have more rwtq-rwhp. :
One more thing: with the cutout opened it's hard to drive it does not like being under 2000 rpm jerks bucking... but sounds nasty, I like it.
With the cutout closed: it drives like a dream, like I had a stock cam happy in 5th at 1200 rpm and pulls... really a joy to drive it...but does not sound nasty, more like a sleeper...(I mean if you know these cars you can tell it has a cam...lopes.)

On the same dyno with the same mods and a tune (RWTD) I did 357 rwhp and 376 rwtq (same amount of rwtq with the stock cam. )

This car has the stock heads? If you put a good set on you will be able to get the crazy power that cam can make. Also consider 1.85 rocker arms for more lift. The Tq will climb a lot.

I'd like to get a little more feedback on this Guys, I expected more power with an opened exhaust...maybe just the Random Technology 3" catback flows way to good?

put a pulley, 1.85 rockers, and duals, and you should see the numbers go up.
