i am looking to buy this 99 trans am with 31000 miles.

it is A4, beefed up trans and shift kit, 3200 stall, moser 12 bolt with a 3.73, new cam forgot specs, ported and polished heads, mac 3" headers, flowmaster exhaust, pulleys, tnt nitrous kit, whipser lid, MAF, 85mm TB, ls6 intake, and suspension upgrades, he will also give me a set of slicks and tires and a ram air hood.

said car runs 11.70 motor and 11.05 on 75 shot.

saw dyno Numbers it was 395hp and 391Tq.

what do u guys think of the car and does al of this seem right?

he is asking 15,000 for it also

 

11.7 on the motor with slicks seems a little on the slow side. I would expect closer to 11.5. I would also expect him to be int eh 10's on slicks with the laughin gas. The price seems average. Not great not bad. He say how many nitrous tanks he has refilled or how many passes he made with teh gas? 75 shot is pretty tame on teh engine so no real worry about wear. Unfortunatly it is all to easy to run alot more of a shot and do some good beatin on teh engine. GL man. That is a pretty fast car.

if i were to buy and forge the internals how much u think i can spray safely?

But... purchasing a modded, nitrous, track visiting, car is dangerous. I'd ask to see his dyno sheet, track slips, and mods receipts before I considered buying that car. Then again, I wouldn't buy that car unless all the work was done by a reputable shop that I could contact. Good Luck.

 

well i saw all of the receipts and i did not see a slip but but he did seem trustworthy and the car seemed very quick.

All of the work was done @ speed INc. in schaumburg, Il

i am very nervous though because i do not know if i should buy such a modded car?

I wonder if i should just buy a new one and do the mods myself?
