Why such a loss of power with diff Dynos??

Default Why such a loss of power with diff Dynos??

I just had my car dynoed and where did my hp go? This is the first dyno chart:

As you can see I am suppose to be getting 410 rwhp acording to the dyno done by the shop that did my heads and cam, but just today I had a dyno done on a dynojet and got less rwhp than before.


The only changes that were done to the car was a highstall torque converter (vigalante 2800) and we reversed the cat and x-pipe location on my lg lt headers. How could this cost me 40hp? Something is fishy here!

Depending on the efficiency of your high stall converter, it could be soaking up all your new-found power. What kind is it?

It is a Precision Industries C5 Vigilante Torque Converter 2800 stall. The mustang dyno was with the stock converter. Also you can see by the graph my t/c was not locked until 4400 rpms. That is the way I have it for normal use. What should i have done to make better numbers?
