I don't doubt the ET's would make quite a bit more power, but it is still going to be restricted by the intake.

why not just run your hogged out ls1 castings until their new intake is available next summer then purchase the ET heads?????? Sounds like a plan to me.

I talked to cary and craig today and they said the intake will not be ready until summer next year it will however be released at the PRI show.

Very stout numbers guys. The highest I have made is 563rwhp with my 408ci.

Think about it like this.

The FAST manifold is already a restriction, why would you want another restriction (I.E. crappy heads) in the equation. You've already got one part holding you back, why would you want two?

I just want to see what I can get out of the 5.7's first. hell, I already have them sold, I just want to see. I think I can get close to 9's on motor.

who is CHS he must kick some *** at porting heads as those are some very stout numbers even for stage three ls6 heads.

Yes he does excellent work at a way affordable price. And if i remember correctly they are regular 5.7 heads not LS6 castings.

yes, my current heads are 5.7L with 2.02/1.57 valves!
