Big Difference in Dyno Numbers
Just this past weekend I dyno'ed on a Dynojet machine, just curious to what the difference would be. To my surprise (and everyone there) my numbers were 353rwhp/353rwtq.
So, there is about a 30HP difference (10%) between the two. From what I've heard, the difference shouldn't be that big. There was another guy there that "lost" 40hp from a Dynapak to a Dynojet.
I am going to have the shop with the Dynapak re-dyno my car to make sure nothing is wrong with it.
My question basically is: What "should" my car dyno, given my mods?
2002 Camaro SS (M6)
SLP LT
SLM Loudmouth
ASP pullies
TR224 114 cam
Whisper lid
street tune

SAE for both.
Yeah, my only power mods are real the cam+exhaust+tune. I'm having my car re-evaluated by the shop that did the original dyno and tune, to see if everything is ok... meaning, I didn't dyno lower due to some car issues. We'll see.
were 357hp/357tq
The only thing that was apparently different from the original run, was that my PCM voltage was down about 1V. He also mentioned that the alt. and crank belts seemed somewhat loose. I will be going back next week for more evaluation.
Any opinions?
