Lost HP Help? Went to the dyno yesterday to tune the car and found that I had lost over 40 horsepower and 65 ft pounds of torque. I have only driven the car about 1000 miles since the last time I had her on the dyno so not sure what happened. Was supprised as original dyno was done with only 500 miles on engine and expected better not worse dyno graph with more miles. Only thing that I have noticed is that if at lower RPM 2000 or less and I stomp on it there is a slight hesitation. Also on the dyno the same hesitation occured. The car has no miss in it. But I have also noticed recently that the gas milage has gotten worse. One final thing is that my wife swears the car smells like exhaust worse than it has in the past although I do not notice much of a difference. The engine is a 427 LS2 built by MTI and it has about 2000 miles on it. It has no knock sensors so it is not the engine detecting knock. Someone else suggested spark plugs but wouldn't the car have a miss with a bad plug? The only thing that has changed since the last time on the dyno is my tuner has changed some of the idle air stuff as the car has always had an issue with intermitant stalling at idle. I spoke with him and he thought that the changes that he made would have had no affect on the HP and torque. AF ratio is 12.5 to 1 the exact same as it was the original time on the dyno. I have tried to attach dyno graph to compare but file was to large. Thanks for any advice,Buzz
