Default Has Anyone Gained Power by Switching to Larger Injectors?

I'm curious if anyone has picked up a significant amount of power from an injector and tuning change.

I'm particularly interested to know if there's any power to be had by reducing the duty cycle at which the injectors operate. For example, if your AFR was 12.8 and your injectors were running at 97 percent, then you swapped in larger injectors and had an AFR of 12.8 with a duty cycle of 70 percent, would you see any changes in power output?

Thanks,
Josh

I don`t know. I had 30lb and went to 42 on my set-up. One thing I did get to do. I spray 150 shot. I was able to put the fuel jets in for a 100 shot. I was running really rich with the 150 fuel jets. Car in Sig!

if you are running out of injector, then you aren't getting enough fuel to the engine
get the proper injectors and tune accordingly.

That's just the point. According to a wideband, my car is getting enough fuel. My injectors are running anywhere from 85-100% duty cycle, though.

You aren't going to gain any power stepping up to a larger injector. You are getting to a point that with more engine mods you will need to step up injectors, but at this point you will not gain power. A/F mixture correct with your current injectors is the same as A/F mixture correct with different ones.

The higher the duty cycle the more stress on the injector. If your running 100+ duty cycle one day the injector is going to fail or malfunction. Hopefully your not WOT going down the track. It would lean the motor out and BOOM!!!!. I assume if you were dragging the car you might be able to get away a higher duty cycle before it came an issue.

On my car I road race the car, im running WOT for 20-30 min session. Depending on the track it might be upwards of 15 shift a lap. 105+ duty cycle on my car that I had before the SVO 30(77% now). Would of been trouble. John
