air/fuel ratio too high?

air/fuel ratio too high? I went to the dyno last night for the first time. 98 z28 A4 w/ air lid, cat back, 3.73, and 150 shot nx. Its got 151,000 miles on it. My N/A pull put out 300.7 rwhp and 305 rwtq, my air to fuel was reading a little rich at idle and when it was under load it was up close to 14. Where is it supposed to be? Well when i saw that i didn't do a nitrous pull, it kinda worries me. But i have been runnin on the street for almost a year now.

fatten it up to about 12.5 down low and lean it out to about 13 towards your shift point
then fatten it back up above that to keep it safe

If the wideband was in the tail pipe the AFR numbers can be thrown off by the cats burning the excess fuel (doing their job)..
It happened to me with about the same mods with a tailpipe wideband.
If it was before the cats, then its too lean for WOT and it sounds like your MAF needs to be recalibrated.
