Default New SD tune and 150 shot dyno numbers

car: 04 Z06

my mods are:
tsp 408 (eagle crank, callies rods, diamond pistons)
custom comp grind cam ( 254 int. 266 ext. @ 0.50", .640" int 640" ext. lift,
113 lsa)
AFR 225's ,out of the box.
Fast 90 out of box
Nick Williams Throttle Body
30lb injectors "maxed out"
Kooks 1 7/8 long tubes, no cats
Ghl bullet rear section
Halltech Stinger Intake
custom pieced together Nitrous kit ( NX shark nozzle, stand alone fuel cell from nitro daves with regulater and walbro pump)

all tuning done by Charlie @ A and A corvette, thank you Charlie for all the help.
there was another dyno pull (N/A) that had the same rwhp but the torque was 500 ft lbs, but i was in a rush and didnt get that one. note i had low bottle pressure

I`m getting a 408 iron made right now with 245`s from ETP. Can`t wait to see what my numbers are. I plan on a 200 shot! Would love the N/A numbers you have!

550rwhp is get'n it done not many 408's put out that much. not a bad TQ curve either

I would have expected well over 700rwhp with a 150 shot though...

Another impressive "40X" combo with AFR 225's...

Looks more like a power and TQ curve from a good running 427 buildup....

Nice numbers Ryne....Congrads....the car must pull like crazy!

Thinking the next time your up this way again you owe me a ride....LOL

you need to know that nx jetting is rated at the flywheel for horsepower, so if you take into account drive train lose and low bottle pressure it isnt to far off.

they were 549 rwhp 495 rwtq n/a and 666 rwhp and 664 rwtq on gas.

Would this setup make less power w/ a MAF tune? What is the down side of the SD tune?

i would probadly lose about 10 rwhp. because of the restriction the maf is, but i would lose some midrange torque as well, because on the low end the motor is much more responsive.
