Default SDPC 402 dyno #s

I went & dynoed the new stroker today. I was pleased with the NA numbers, considering it only has 9.3 CR. I gained 25rwhp & 40 rwtq SAE over my hot cam LS1 motor. So I should be right where I wanted it when the blower goes on. (assuming we get anywhere close to the 40% for the P-1SC or 60% for the D ATI advertises - Todd gained 140rwhp with this blower)

The results are:

Old motor - 361rwhp, 346rwtq; = 490 eng hp & 475 eng tq
Stroker - 385rwhp, 403rwtq; = 530 eng hp & 555 eng tq
(eng #s assume 20% stock drivetrain loss + the 7.5% I documented on the 9" & Stall)

Oh, and there was a blip on the new dyno chart. They thought it was flashing too fast. It actually broke the tires loose once when it downgeared into 2nd, which I thought was pretty cool.

I'll have to go upstairs to the other computer & post the dyno sheet.....

Thanks for the data. It is most interesting as it gives a pretty good baseline of the value of compression. I have about 100 more rwhp with 11:0/1 compression vs your 9.3/1. Cam? Mine is a mid 230s baby cam.

And about 45 more rwtq. Compression is good.

You looking for about 200 more hp with the blower?

Interesting Perry, I was wondering what 11:1 would have given me. I have a 22x/23x cam designed for boost, & most of the work on the heads was focused on the exhaust side. Compression IS a good thing. Nothing sounds quite like it....

And around 200 hp from the blower is my goal. I'm thinking 550rwhp should get me the ET I'm looking for.

I have the TSP torquer (233/233)with LS6 intake and ported stock TB. Plus all the other important stuff.

484 rwhp/444 torque.

I do have an M6 and 10 bolt however. So I would suspect that the compression alone is more like 60-65 rwhp rather than the full 100, as I suspect that you are losing 35 rwhp or so in the driveline that I am not.

Perry

It will be awesome when you get it together.
