Take out the spike at the end and the numbers are closer to 460. Still very solid though. Major props.

I noticed that.... 460 is still damn good, but I always wonder why the low(ish) TQ when I see these...

Hey pdd, I noticed you changed heads to Trick Flow. I come from the Mustang world and have a lot of experience with their products ... FYI, I ordered my CompCams 226/230 XE-R cam (112lsa, 111icl) from AFR and should be getting it next week. Trying to get it in, tuned and dyno'd before the end of the month....

Ok, I'm no expert on the subject but couldn't you technically also make this numbers with a 346 LS1 as far as power goes?

And how does the LS6 bottom end compare with the LS1's in terms of durability? Are there any significant differences between the LS1 and LS6 when you're undergoing some kind of H/C setup?? Cause I always assumed if you're going to do H/C the LS1 is a better engine to do it on because you'll get the same results and it's a cheaper engine. Am I right?

Sure you could make the same numbers with an ls1 bottom end but there is more to a z06 than just the engine. Like the weight of the car and suspension to name a couple. Oh and those rear brake ducts that some people with reg. corvettes like to glue on....LOL

They're not that different:

spaces between the galleries for better breathing
relocated knock sensors
minor changes to the cast for better oil flow & cooling

...I might have left out a minor difference, but you can see there are no big changes.

plus no 90mm intake, add that and get theoretically 20 more rwhp!!

Would you expect a good bump in low end torque milling these heads .030" or so? I already have the valve reliefs so this may be the setup for me. This and a 90/90 and I would be looking at 460 or so through a 9". Im sold TSP!
