First off, thanks to Jeff at Carolina Auto Masters. Jeff picked up 15rwhp and 20rwtq from a tune on a CAI and catted header car. It is actually kind of hard to tell what the peak was since it was so spiky. One spike was up around 390rwhp 380rwtq that smoothed down to 385rwhp and 377rwtq. Then smoothed again to 380rwhp 375rwtq. Those are the numbers I am going with. When I rolled in the car put down 365rwhp 356rwtq. It was running very rich and had alot of knock. Best power came at 24* total and 13.2 afr at the tail pipe through the cats.
If you have been following my progress I ran 12.08 @ 116.07 bone stock. Then with the headers and CAI I ran 11.85 @ 118.45 untuned. All runs on stock F1 street tires. That pretty much tells me that the car was only putting down 340ish rwhp stock. I suspected the car was pretty weak. I figure I gained 25rwhp untuned from the headers and CAI. So now with the extra 15hp/20tq I think I will easly hit my 120mph trap speed goal. I still think the results are a little low but the car is putting down the same numbers my full bolt on and cammed 98 TA put down.
I think the cats cost me some power and I put 74W140 fluid in the Diff unstead of 75W90. That might have cost me one or two also.
