True power question
True power question I have just bought a 98Z A4 . I have no dyno sheet for the car and am told by the previous owner that an 11.4 qtr mile time was reached and that the car dynoed 417rwhp/440ft.lbs trq. The mods that are done are Hooker LT's, ORY, Magnaflow CatBack, LS6 Ported Heads, mild cam, BBK SSI intake manifold, 1.8rockers, lid,3000 stall, built auto, 373's w/ a locker, underdrive pulley, and maybe a couple other things. Do the numbers on this vehicle sound legitimate? Thanks.
yes, a head/cam car with the right setup(suspension, tire, etc etc) can easily run low 11s and very easily make 417rwhp thru an auto on a mild H/C setup. Did the previous owner tell you what kinda cam he put in it or if he still has the cam card??? He give you any timeslips? What did the car trap at the end of the 1/4 mile? Id think it should be around 117-119mph or so more or less.

The car has hotchis springs trailing arms and k-member with a 3000 stall and the cam is a comp cams 224/228 534/537lift. I don't have any slips or know the trap speed but the car runs very well but i wasn't sure if those times were accurate.
