Default Dyno graph from my TR224/AS heads

Here is the graph. I shut it off just a little early on this run, but it was at its peak already at 6200-6400 rpm.

They were Jays (Absolute Speed) CNC ported heads with a liitle hand work in the bowls. He did not do any hand work in the intake port to keep velocity higher since I am only pushing .564 lift with my baby cam. He said they were ported to flow the best up to .575 lift.

I was wondering what this cam would do with some ported heads. Im running only a few bolt-ons with the 224 .563 114 and pushin 405 to the wheels, makes me kinda wonder if mine are ported????

How many miles have you put on the heads, or are they still basically new (miles wise, they can't be too new time wise )

Your right. The heads and cam have been on the car for awhile. The heads are just over two years old, but only have 4000 miles on them. Just had the car retuned this past weekend since the first tune was lacking in performance.

Im on my 3rd set of A.S. heads. All were ported years ago and still perform as well as most of the newer heads even better than some.

Congrats on the numbers

Did you ask for the Standard numbers or does Absolute Speed like to inflate their numbers providing standard numbers? Sorry it's a real pet peeve for most on here that know the difference, all the top rate shops use SAE. Standard numbers are smoke and mirrors.

A.S. was a head porting company not the dyno spot. Plus they have been out of business for a couple years

These are standard numbers from a dyno I used in my local town. Their dyno is pretty accurate. May even read a few low. Only difference in my dyno, I pulled the filter since its been in there from the beginning. Other than that, no tricks, just great tuning.

I don't really think so. Maybe the 112 may peak a little earlier, but that would depend in the tune.
