Question Dyno Verification

Hi Guys

I just got back from the dyno with some results that I would like an opinion on. The Z28 (2002 w/M6) currently has the following mods

1) SLP Cold Air Kit (Lid, Bellows, and Duct)
2) SLP Loudmouth II Catback
3) SLP Y-Pipe
4) BMR SFC's
5) BMR Tunnel Brace

My baseline runs were roughly 335-340 RWHP. The car then received a tune and then did runs from 342-350 RWHP with the last run being at 350 RWHP. The weather conditions were hot and muggy (mid 90's). The dyno used was DC-1800 series (Dynocom).

Has anyone with the mods identical or similar to mine achieved similar results?

Also has anyone noticed if your car performs very well in hot and humid conditions during dyno testing, normal and extreme driving conditions?

Thanks

If the results were atmosphere corrected, which any legitimate dyno shop automatically does, the temp, baro pres and humidity will not affect your HP/TQ numbers. If they are not corrected, your numbers are meaningless unless we know the dyno's elevation, air temp, baro pressure and humidity on your 350 HP run.

By elevation - you mean elevation from sea level?

Yes,this is normally taken into account with the dyno's barometric pressure readings if they are using SAE corrections and IF such dynos are calibrated to "absolute" pressure, which many dynos are not. Our dyno is installed at approx 1000 ft above sea level which in itself adds approx 5% to the SAE correction factor, this way we can compare to dynos installed at sea level or in Denver if they are using SAE correction factors properly.

did they give you a dyno graph? If so, did it have the temp, baro and humidity numbers on it???
Anyway, 340-350rwhp SAE is believable for an '02 6sp w/ those mods and a stock rear

I've checked with the shop and indeed the numbers are to the SAE J1349 standard.

So it appears that my numbers from yesterday were legit.
