Post Livernois head 395ci

I had the car dynoed a week ago at ECS here in NJ. I couldn't have picked a
worse day, temps were 103+ Anyway here are the specs and results

Specs
99 block .15 over + Eagle stroker (395ci)
Livernois Stage III heads (243 casting 64cc flowed 330cfm @ .600)
Venolia pistons 11.3:1 compression
Comp cam 231/236 .610/.620 112LSA
Fast 90/NW TB (unported)
85mm MAF/MTI lid
SLP underdrive pulley
42lb injectors/Racetronix Walbro 255 kit
Meziere water pump
Hooker 1 3/4 long tubes, custom 3" Y w/ cats, Magnaflow cat-back
Spec IIIF, SLP billet flywheel, MN6, Moser 12 bolt 3.73's

1st run = 469.5hp/400lbs, A/F 10:1 (crop dusting the dyno), IAT was ~90 degrees (getting hot)

2nd run = 458hp/~415lbs, A/F 11:1 (still crop dusting the dyno), IAT was ~108 degrees, power was down b/c motor pulling 6-8 degrees of false knock (heat)

3rd run = 458hp/427lbs (tried to let car sit for 1/2hr but it got hotter outside), AF 12.8:1 (good), IAT was ~108 degrees again, power was down b/c motor pulling 6-8 degrees of false knock(heat)

All in all I was pleased considering how freakin hot it was. I'm sure in cooler weather I'll see something closer to 500hp. Future plans include porting the intake, bigger cam, 1 7/8 headers and N20.

I tried racing on a local well prepped road (good rubber/VHT etc), did a nice burnout/backed into tracks & dumped the clutch at 3500 and left the driveshaft on the street, Dyno sheet to come soon (home PC is busted)

Solid numbers considering the poor conditions. I should have my Livernois Stage 2 head dyno results very soon.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting to dead hook but I guees the combo of suspension, good tires and 70k on the drivetrain didn't help. I did race a few ppl from a roll before dropping the driveshaft and the car pulls from 2500 - 6500 without an issue (took out a smaller crotch rocket.)

not bad. tq seems low with that size cam though.

don't forget, dyno's correct for air temp etc... you're not going to pick up 40hp in cooler temps on the dyno. maybe 10 if your lucky.

get the tuning bugs worked out, it should have picked up a lot of power going from 10:1 to 12.8:1.

Yeah, I'd like to get it back on the track but don't have a cage and I think that could be an issue esp if I run it past 1/8 mile. Although I did place runner up in a GM High Tech Performance shoot-out (few yrs ago).
