Default 402 Build with 224/228 115LSA

Just wanted to see if this cam would do well in a LS2 402 Stoker build for my C6. I do want a very streatable car with good power.

Not too small if you want really good street manners and plenty of low-end torque.

With a good tune, headers, cats, and factory catback - that thing will sound and feel like stock but run like it's sprayed! Awesome for a stealth/DD approach. I like it! AFR heads and FAST intake painted black - AWESOME hustler...

Thanks for the feedback, I really did not want any shake or anything but just wanted Very Stock like sound and fell with extra power. Plus Forged Internals could get my spray up to 200 DP.

Patrick G,

The Cam came was ordered as a 224/228 on a 116 LSA but the Cam Pro report speced it out more like a 226/228 on a 115.2 LSA. I can send you the Cam Pro Report if you want to take alook at it....

I am shooting for around 470 RWHP / 470 RWTQ or above Below is some of the items going in.

MTI LS402 Stroker
TEA Trickflow Heads 225c 4" bore
224/228 .590/5.81 on a 115 LSA
Port LS2 Intake
11.3 Compression
Yank SS3200
Upgrade to 200 Wet Shot

Should be together and installed by the end of November.

You should have no problem making 470/470 with that setup. We just built a turbo 402 longblock for a guy with 9:5 comp, TSP heads, 228R 114 cam, hookers, and fast 90. It made 460/465.

your car is putting down nice power with the bolt ons that you have now. the motor should hit the goals you have in mind.

B18,

Thats nice results for such low compresion. Did the car shake at all or did it seem just like stock?

You could tell it wasn't stock but I would compare the idle to something like a 220/220 cam on a 346.
