Default My Dyno Graph

Sorry the pics a little out of focus but the numbers are 425 hp and 465 ftlbs with 446 ft lbs at peak Hp

I was only able to run 6.5 psi, cause my rubber 90* 3.5" to 4" elbow kept blowing off, as well as my IAT sensor . NOw that those are remedied, I'm gonna get a 2bar map sensor and get it tuned again. So what do you think my limiting factor was/is? I'm leaning on the 42# SVO's or the stock bottom end. These Numbers where on a DynoPak Dyno, havn't heard much on how these numbers compare to DynoJet and Mustang. But what an awesome machine it is.

SV0 42# flow like 47 delphi's on a GM pump. i would say that those are plenty for 6.5psi. i was running 38# injectors with a P1 blower at 6psi. also i have proof that the stock pistons cant handle 6psi. so i would be careful running more than that or add a alky injection kit to cool things off or run it rich. ORRRRR start saving for forged pistons and rods, stock crank is strong enough to run 18psi. several twin turbo C5's are running the stock crank with no issues.

LS1 heads are you limiting factor. stock LS6 heads should help you get to the 490ish area or pick up a set of budget heads to get the airflow you need in the .550-.560 lift area since that about what the LS6 cam is running. OR run something like the LPE GT2-3 cam which is the FI cam that LPE uses or a custom grind from another FI specialty shop.

Xtreme HP locally uses this dyno and they told me that there dyno typical reads lower than a dyno jet, but is suppose to be one of the most accurate dyno's.

honestly i would say your have a one kick *** set up with unreal future potential!congrats on your build!

now if i can convenience my girl friend to do a single turbo rear mount set up on her SS, i would feel completely

I was thinking of getting some 317 heads and getting a very mild port job done to them, this would also alow me to run more boost. I think Ill wait untill I get a larger displacement forged bottom end and put a motor together just for forced induction. What seems strange to me it that this motor has peak power by 5000 rpm and by 6000 its really dropping off? What could be causing this?

Your heads are preventing you from making power up top. They just don't flow enough cfm to make power up there. You mentioned some lightly ported 317's, why not just port the heads you have and see how it works before you go and buy new heads. Good luck and great preliminary results.

believe it or not my car has never been undrivable for more than two days at a time, while building this kit. It is a true DD, granted work and back is only 3 miles round trip. I thinking about some patriot lq9 heads. I just bought springs and retainers, so I'd like to buy the heads with valves but no springs or retainers, do they ofer then that way. I saw bare castings for a good price.

Dynapack tend to show slightly lower numbers than Dynojet. Just take it to another dynojet or the track. The T70 needs at least 8psi to even get close to its efficiency range. You can bump it to 8psi with no problems.... I ran 7.5-8psi for a while with no problems and took it to 13psi with no problems... The motor still have great compression. Its all in the tune.
