Default New dyno numbers after swapping in a TR224 cam

It doesn't seem very correct to me i can't remember if the first dyno with the old cam was with a locked or unlocked converter the 353rwhp and 392rwtq. The 2nd sheet was with the TR224 cam that's the only thing that changed.

Red line was N/A
Blue line was with nitrous

Green line was N/A
Blue and red lines were with nitrous

Now with the TR224 cam he had the converter unlocked, BUT when he did lock it i lost HP to 369 and gained Torque it went to 410 or 425. And i couldn't tune the nitrous in right the car wouldn't richen up consistantly on every run. My tuner said i need to switch to a dual nozzle setup for better tuning ability. I have a TCI 3500 stall i always thought locking it resulted in higher numbers . I can't really read dyno graphs for crap, the car itself feels alot stronger both low and topend i dunno. I'm going to switch to a dual nozzle this winter and redo the nitrous tune this spring and take it to the track and see how it does. I know numbers aren't everything especially with a stalled A4 times are what counts.

The cam is also the small TR224 with the .563 lift's. Old cam was a .522 .529 lifts. Overall i don't think that almost a 20hp gain is bad since i didn't go that much larger in cams or is it? But the drop in torque is what kinda has me wondering, but then again i don't know how stalled autos behave on a dyno this is the first one i've messed with.

Looks good.

FYI- both dyno sheets are unlocked converter. He probly just locked it in 3rd gear.

Correct he did lock the tranny in 3rd with the tuner, he also locked the converter on one run with the TR224, and it lost hp and gained torque unless i misunderstood him, cause i thought with it locked the hp would be higher not lower.

Can i ask how you know from the sheets that the converter is unlocked or locked?

Hp is flat and torque is sloped down the whole run.=unlocked converter.

If it lost hp when it's locked then it was probly detinating which pulled the timing back.

And you know what your right again, i remember when he locked the converter it got some knock from the converter locking and possibly something else, we never saw it any other time.
