New dyno numbers after swapping in a TR224 cam
Red line was N/A
Blue line was with nitrous

Green line was N/A
Blue and red lines were with nitrous
Now with the TR224 cam he had the converter unlocked, BUT when he did lock it i lost HP to 369 and gained Torque it went to 410 or 425. And i couldn't tune the nitrous in right the car wouldn't richen up consistantly on every run. My tuner said i need to switch to a dual nozzle setup for better tuning ability. I have a TCI 3500 stall i always thought locking it resulted in higher numbers
The cam is also the small TR224 with the .563 lift's. Old cam was a .522 .529 lifts. Overall i don't think that almost a 20hp gain is bad since i didn't go that much larger in cams or is it? But the drop in torque is what kinda has me wondering, but then again i don't know how stalled autos behave on a dyno this is the first one i've messed with.

FYI- both dyno sheets are unlocked converter. He probly just locked it in 3rd gear.
Can i ask how you know from the sheets that the converter is unlocked or locked?

If it lost hp when it's locked then it was probly detinating which pulled the timing back.
