Default New combo dyno numbers

Okay well after watching lostcause dyno his very sweet Z06 I waited around a bit longer so that i could get a few runs in to check the AFR. I finally got on about 7:30pm and made a first run to check the AFR just a little 4500 pull it was running way rich, I had made two tunes so I decided to flash the other one in to check and see if it was better and it went from 10s in the afr to 12.0 to 12.3 kinda lean but no detonation and ran strong all the way too 5500. Well I added a little fuel to it and said screw it and did a full pull, AFR was alot better 11.6 to 11.8. Well with the bigger engine I was only seeing 5 psi on boost max, when with the old 346 combo same pulley made over 9 to 10 psi of boost, second thing was engine has just over 300 miles on it did alot of it loading and unloading 2 oil changes but means its not totally broken in and sealed yet so it will make more when it is, and last thing is I didnt do any other tuning no timing or any other changes just the three pulls. But it still managed to push out 615rwhp just 17 rwhp behind my best 346 at 10psi pull and 556 rwtq over 30 more peak torque than my old combo. Well the best thing I noticed in this little run was the amazing amount of low and midrange torque and rwhp that i did gain over my old combo in some spots it was over 80 more rwtq and 50 rwhp so that was a nice surprise.

But I went home and spent all night and most of the morning putting on more than 300 more good loading unloading stop and go miles to break in the motor even further. Then threw caution to the wind took off the 4.5 pulley and added the 3.4 pulley , the smallest they make for my combo. I think the D1SC is maxed as I was seeing just shy of 12psi but before I would only see 1psi at around 2700 and it would rise with rpm now all the sudden I have over 5psi at 2500 and it feels freakin AMAZING!!!! I can at will, pretty much destroy my tires even at speeds of over 70 MPH. I dont know what the top end will end up looking like but I DO know that my low and midrange changed dramically and will be affected nicely. I will get new numbers tomarrow and see where shes at but man whatever it is I love it haha!!! Scanner shows no detonation and good solid timing and AFR.

The graph attached is a comparison of my best old run with the 346, patriot stage 2 heads, 224 cam, and 10 psi of boost(blue) Versus the new run with the 408, afr heads same 224 cam, same blower but only 5 psi

With the smaller pulley on, for one I get a full 6psi right at 2600 rpms and my torque does not fall below 500 foot pounds from 3500 all the way to 6000 thats a hell of a usable curve. The small pulley has changed everything dam thing feels like a turbo kicking in as I have alot of torque right off the bat!!! I am also running extremely rich right now in the 2800 to 4700 rpm range i need to lean it out as this will net me even more power in the low to midrange. I have also lowered my max rpms too 6K boost falls off after that, but the D1SC is MAXED holds 10psi till 6100 and then boost drops off and no the belt is not slipping. I called EPP and was told the D1SC is maxed on the 408 and the afrs are breathing to good for it. I may get a little more power with a different cam as I am using a very small cam for the 408 but I should switch too the 3.7 pulley it will take some of my mid away but it will hold psi longer too about 6500. As it stands I made a max of 628 rwhp which is 4 hp off my best with the 346 but I am now at a WHOPPING 612 RWTQ and the gains of over 120 rwtq and 80 rwhp throughout the midrange and low end is a HUGE bonus alot better usable power. Got a little more tuning to do but with my tuner friends help i am sure i will see about 640rwhp and over 630 rwtq when its tuned in perfect. I also love the fact that I am over 400 rwtq at 2500 rpms and from 3500 to 6000 its well over 500 rwtq. I will post a pic of the graph as soon as my phone gets back I left it in a friends car and hes bringin it back
