2000 SS A4 -

Heads- stock (853's)
Cam- 224/224 - .581/.581 on 114
LS6 intake
LID/ K&N
SLP Longtubes
No cats - ORY
Underdrive pullies
3.42's
Stock Stall

What kind of #'s can I expect from this combo right here? Best case scenario?

I am thinking 390-400rwhp.

Guesses?

My guess between around 360 to 380 give or take a few considering you are still using stock heads. You should do the heads at the same time with your cam some have gained 20 to 40 extra with some good flowing heads.

Can't afford heads right now, so its not an option. Not to mention I am set on a pair of TFS heads, which are big bucks.

My buddy see's 370rwhp with the TR224- .561 lift, and no underdrive pullies. ALL of the aforemnetioned mods were on my other friends car (00' SS) except for the pullies and he saw 343 to the wheels. The same cam in my buds vette with stage 2 heads nets 430rwhp. I was hoping to be in the middle somewhere (between 370-430=390 maybe). I guees I'll just have to find out.

i do like the fact you put '"nother hp thread". dyno jet-370hp mustang dyno-340hp. i'de go more cam,like a LG-g5x1 228/232.(if you still want to stay small) it would drive about the same,but give you another 15-20hp.

Maybe I'll go with the 228R /.581 / 114 instead then. I am putting a set of TFS heads on this thing later, and I'd rather not have to change the cam when I do the heads.

LG-motorsports cams produce big power! i ran all of them,i'de go with the x1 or the x2 cam. with the TFS heads you will produce big power. the x2 cam will drive just as nice as any cam after a tune and you will gain more power. get the most you can and still drive great.
