Default 408ci Dyno Results...

I've had this in for a while and just didn't post my results with the set-up and everything. I'll have to scan the graph for you guys. It's been on two different dynos and they were about 10hp and 9tq difference with them.

Includes:
Callies 4340 4" Crankshaft
Callies 6.1275" H-Beam Rods
Diamond 4.030" Bore Pistons
Comp Cams Replacement Lifters
TSP PRC 3 LS6 Heads w/Hand Port
TSP PRC Dual Springs Rated To .650 Lift
TSP Giant Cam ..248 .254 .622 .613 114 lsa
Custom Tune By Jeremy Formato
Comp Cams Double Roller Timing Chain
MLS Head Gaskets
Every Nut and Bolt is ARP
90/90 (Intake Manifold Hand Ported By Me.)
1 7/8 Kooks Ceramic Coated Stainless Longtubes

This is all N/a and with compression atr 11.25:1 on a 93* day with 65% humidity, full belts and full exhaust with no dyno tricks. Car was at full temp when pulled on the rollers.

DYNA PACK: 532 RWHP 485 RWTQ
DYNO JET: 522 RWHP 476 RWTQ

I'm sure torque is down because of the larger headers but I wanted to get them and suffer the loss n/a for my gains on the hose. This motor will be recieving a 250 progressive direct port. Compression was also lower than optimal because of the heat that we get down here in the SE part of the country. It still put down decent numbers and now I'm not so worried about detonation with spray later down the road.

250 shot numbers to come.

Pretty strong motor. I am considering doing a budget hi compression zl 402 shortblock and have my heads, etc swapped over if my current 346 has anything more then blown headgaskets.

How do you think a 11.4 to 1 compression 402 with afr 205's, g5x3 cam, ported 90/90 setup and lg's prolongtube headers would do?? Also has Meziere EWP and ASP ud Pully. Hoping for 505 rwhp and 465 rwtq or a little more.

It depends on the DCR. I would honestly think that a custom grind cam specific for your application would greatly benifit anyone making a custom set-up. You want to keep your DCR as close to 8.4 as possible.

I personally think the TFS heads would be an awesome start to a kick *** combo at a really good price. Guys are putting down serious numbers with these heads with well thought out combos that work well together. I could have pulled even more Hp and a lot more TQ if I were closer to the 8.4 DCR but I did that for the spray and the hot florida summers.

The EWP and ASP really don't make that much of a difference. Some think it does but I've had both and can't tell jack **** for a difference to validate the cost of either but that's your choice.

Do you have the ABCD's of the cam? if you do, I can try to tell you the DCR and how well it will fit your motor set-up if you tell me what head gaskets and the piston reliefs if any. I also need the lift numbers at .600

Let me know.

I see a TH400 in your future and a 70 rwhp drop but then at least a 1/2 second gain in the E/T's you will be blowing up E/T Calculators everywhere!
