Default 408/AFR/T-rex on engine dyno

I was pretty amazed at the power this motor made. Hans Feustal did the machine work, assembly and I used BS3 to tune it. It made 633/578 torque. I told Hans we would be lucky to get 600 out of it..lol.

Good numbers from two tried and true parts...AFR's and the T-rex cam.

Other mods to the motor are:
stock FAST intake
NW 90
Kooks 1 3/4" headers
compression was 11:1
pump gas

Should be around 530rwhp/491rwtq through the 6-speed.

Not bad at all.

Don't underestimate the LSx platform

Not my motor, so I didn't grab any sheets. I don't know a damn thing about engine dynos, but I think that it was around .4....sound right? I just paid attention to the WB to make sure it was ok during a pull.

I think that's a little conservative. My experience has shown a 60-65 hp loss when going from the engine dyno to chassis dyno in an F-body with a stick shift. I think the number is going to be higher than 530s.

My estimate is 557rwhp/508rwtq.

Ported on the fast90 is going to be 10rwhp-15 more or so.

This is a strong runner.

Hi Patrick,

The loss through my OEM Stock drivetrain to the tires was 64hp...
