Insane #'s from a 06 Z06!!!!!!!!!
The setup I had was (old ARE IRON 385, setup for N20, 4L80E W/ 4200 YANK MULTI DISC, 9" W/ 3.70 GEARS
Base dyno pull converter unlocked and no load = 387 rwhp / 335 rwtq
2nd pull with a 10% load applied = 401 rwhp / 357 rwtq
3rd pull with a 10% load applied and converter locked = 419 rwhp / 370 rwtq
The numbers are the numbers and they are legit but applying the load will show an increase on the dyno. Im not questioning anyones numbers just be sure all things are equal when comparing.
BTW 500 RWHP ON A STOCK GM 28MPG ENGINE AWESOME
I assume most people haven't done a comparo like I showed and I just like to help people be as informed as possible. Anything 470 to 500 is amazing but if alot of other people are dynoing 475 to 48X without a load than the 499 with a load is basically the same from what I've seen when the load is applied.

I was not expecting these type of numbers at all with these minimal mods & tuning. I had a slight hint of big N/A power from trap speeds at Gainesville in similar Air with the same mods/tune a month ago (see sig).
I prefer going to the track to tune for mods on the Car and Driver versus using dynos.
This C6Z has a little extra weight on board. About 100 lbs of stereo. I know blasphemy
And about 3lbs removed at each wheel with super light weight HRE Competition rims. So with my 200 lb ***, this C6Z should weigh in about 3350-3400 lbs loaded.I'm thinking Sam's dyno is right on the Money with this vehicle weight and and perhaps a slightly higher trap speed (128-129 mph). Like I said...still working on the Driver Mod in a 6-speed.
Regardless, I'm still Pumped with these dyno numbers.
Thanks again for the Props Everyone
