Dyno numbers confusing?

i just got my car back from having my cam installed and i am very puzzled by the numbers i got i was exspecting close to 400 but am only making 358 im not to sure whats going on with my car, the parts i have on the car are in my sig any help would greatly be appreciated

Those were probably unlocked numbers which are about right for cam only A4. When I was running a cam only in my A4 I only put down 360 unlocked. The gears are soaking up some and you need to add a p&p tb. More importantly get it on the track and see what times it runs. A low 12 should be about right with those mods.

2. both stall and gears will eat up power its called parasitic loss

3. your stall wasn't locked

Your numbers are fine man, take it to the track and watch that bitch drop low 12 second passes.

That's b/c they are locked numbers. That doesn't mean **** when you're on the track b/c at WOT your converter will be unlocked.

I am assuming that is what happened to me as well. I only posted 390 rear wheel. The guys said my convertor was catching and then i have gears as well as the fact it was hummid, is this true. Stuff in sig.

I wouldnt worry about it good numbers. Mine made about 370 unlocked with stock gearing 3.23 and a much bigger cam at 95 degrees outside lol. Sounds right to me.
